  1. Maybe not but Moose is old enough to know better and keep his mouth shut. Peace
  2. Exactly. Doesn't seem bitter, does he???? He can go play hide and go fxck yourself. Peace
  3. Lucky Luciano - you are not including special teams players or FA undrafted signings in your analysis - Hester, Gould, and McGowan come to mind. You also need to include those players we picked up from teams scrap heaps (i.e. Hillenmeyer). And then of course there is the big FA signings (Tait, Jones, Brown, etc). Obviously, I am talking about building a roster and not just the draft. We all know that the draft is just a part of it. Further, we know that Angelo has done a piss poor job on the offensive side when it comes to drafting and getting free agents. On defense and special teams I would say he has done very well. Peace
  4. Sorry. Let me clarify. He has busted his arse trying to get better. Peace
  5. I like the fact that Spencer said he will be on the team. Garrett has the talent to be a special player in my opinion. Peace
  6. I don't really care if he is right or wrong. The point is he shouldn't have said a damn thing. Rex is more of a man and a teammate than he will ever be. No matter what you think of Rex's play, you can't complain about how he has handled himself on and off the field. He has busted his arse to get better and has always stood up and taken the criticism. What point did Tank's words serve???? Tank needs to grow up. Peace
  7. Maybe if Tank was a better teammate he would still be around. Instead, he is a selfish turd. Screw him. Peace
  8. Noots - great to hear from you!!!!! Hope all is well. Both Tom Thayer and Hub Arkush have been talking up Kirk Barton. Thayer really like what he has seen from him. Maybe we got lucky and have a 7th round steal. On Bennett, I have no idea why they have Bennett return kicks. If not Hester, I can think of at least 3 players I would rather have in that role. Take care of yourself and don't be a stranger. Peace

  10. Now he is only eligable for IR. Peace
  11. He was on the PUP list. The took him off. You can be removed from the PUP list any time during the preseason. Once the season starts however, if you are still on the PUP list you have to remain on it for 6 weeks minimum. Peace
  12. I think the Cowgirls were extremely interested in him when we signed him as a FA. I read an article at the time that said he chose Chicago because he would have a better chance of making the roster. I think the point is mute. If he continues to play like this, I simply do not see us putting him on the PS. He will be on our 53 man roster. Peace
  13. Nice article on last yrs picks. I think Okwo might be gone especially considering how Roach has looked. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-bsep09.article Peace
  14. I agree that Williams should go on the IR. We need to move forward for this yr. Better safe than sorry. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-bear09.article Peace

They better not think they are going to be able to keep on the PS. He will have to be on the 53 man roster and I would want him over Simms. Peace http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/cs-08...0,3768131.story
  16. I would rather give Kirk Barton a chance than bring back Fred Miller. Peace:dabears
  17. Monk may make the practice squad but there is no way he makes the 53 man roster. Peace
  18. Agreed. Let's just hope he continues to improve. If so, he will be a starter within the next few yrs. Peace
  19. They run a vanilla defense in the preseason. I will wait until the regular season to pass judgement. Peace
  20. If he continues to play the way he did yesterday, there is no way they will put him on the PS. He will be on the 53 man roster. As you stated, he will be snapped 'in the blink of an eye'. I wouldn't call him a great talent after 1.5 quarters against a 3rd string defense but he does show real potential. Peace
  21. I am willing to give the Bears the benefit of the doubt but this is worst case scenario. I cannot imagine Williams will have an impact this yr as he will have had no practice reps. I bet he ends up on IR. Peace
  22. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/cs-08...0,1821674.story Looks like he is deciding between the Bears, Texans, and Ravens. Also, note at the bottom of the article that Matt Lawrence was cut. Peace
  23. You cannot be put on the PUP list once training camp starts. Either the Bears put him on IR or they have to carry him on the 53 man roster once the season starts. Peace
  24. Exactly. He looks like he actually has talent that can be developed. Unlike some of these gems from the past: Moses Mareno, Steve Stenstrom, Ken Mastrole, Henry Burris, Jonathan Quinn, etc. I know it was only 1 game, but I was very impressed. Peace
  25. He makes this team. I really like his potential. Maybe we have finally found our QB diamond in the rough. Peace
