Will Trubisky get the surprise start? Can we afford another poor performance from Glennon? We are only a game back in the division and have yet to play a single division game. GB is beatable with a horrible O-Line and one dimensional offense. Without Rodgers they would be 0-3.

Rex has continued the 08 season talk now surrounding the Bears with this statement. Well, he'd certainly have the chance to compete for a starting job in Chicago. The question is, would he be happy to do so on a 1 or 2 year deal?

I just want to ask your opinion on keeping Rex Grossman. If JA offered Rex a contract that was set up to pay him as a #2, but with incentives that kick in with meeting certain stats, would you be opposed. I for one would not be opposed because I think we have our starter and franchise in Kyle Orton. Grossman would be considered a vet, he knows our coaches/system/players, has been very loyal, and has done good things at the helm. With some time on the bench, maybe a light will turn on, kinda like what happened with Orton. The main thing I have noticed about the Bears" receivers form the first 2 games is that they are catching the balls from Cutler with both hands in their mid sections and Knox on a couple of occassions leaped and caught the ball in his stomach. The same can be said for Kellen Davis,Hester and Bennett. The one attempt at a catch that was in a receivers hands was when Olsen got hit hard by Carter. This trend is not a problem now but when the weather gets cold balls may bounce off receivers.I have always been a fan of hands catchers but don't get madif you catch with the body but hold on to the ball. I heard today that AZ Cardinals are interested in Bagent. ( Probably bullsh**). So the question is if we could get a 3 Rd pick for him, would you trade him? The story suggested a 2nd but that seems unrealistic. I think this year they keep the offensive players together for continuity issues. Maybe one might be gone but majority so we can go be aligned to have the best offense in the league. Every time a player becomes available a bunch of pundits have them coming to the bears. Poles never lets information out so when say, they have sources, bullsh**.

Just read this on MSNBC.com: When Cedric Benson was being arrested over the weekend, he apparently responded to the face full of pepper spray by crying, and calling out for his mother. That’s probably not the ideal makeup for a running back in the NFL. The weepy-eyed mugshot can be viewed here. (Chicago Sun-Times)> Now, I'm not really a Benson lover/hater. Anyone got any feedback on our next opponent? I scanned their depth chart and it appears Jacquizz Rodgers is their starting RB splitting time with Charles Sims. Quite a bit less of threat than Atlanta ran at us. They do have a good QB and WRs in Evans and Desean Jackson on the outside plus OJ Howard at TE. I think Fangio needs to flip the script from last week where the focus was on shutting down the run and we should get after the QB. Maybe we'll see more of Bullard and RRH this week? Their defense has some good players but other than Gerald McCoy I don't see any big pass rush threats. That's a consistent complaint among their fans on the message boards too.…
