  1. I would rather see McBride or Graham at the nickel. What role is Manning playing now? Will the coaching staff ever stop screwing with this kid? Another interesting part of this article was the appearance that Miller is playing other teams against the Bears to get more cash. Personally I don't want him back but I can see why they are looking at this. I would not raise the offer to him knowing that he is from here and it would be so much more convenient for him to play here. Peace

I believe these #s have to be incorrect. I remember seeing that we were less that 2 million under the cap when the Hester deal was signed. Where is LT2_3 when you need him???? Peace
  3. Miller has business connections in Chicago. This may play into his decision. Peace
  4. Mulligan is my favorite analyst on the SCORE. Further, I also enjoy his articles in tbe Sun Times. Brad Biggs and him do a much better job covering the Bears than the Trib IMO. Peace
  5. He left today. See the attached article. http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2008/08/mi...en_bears_a.html Peace
  6. Good. That is the last time I will have to see his name when I open the paper. Peace
  7. Are you serious??? Based on what? Peace
  8. http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2008/08/mi...en_bears_a.html Peace
  9. I actually agree with you. Mariotti is a tool and I don't read his crap. Peace
  10. Too bad we couldn't something in a trade for him but at least he is gone. Peace
  11. I have edited - thanks. Peace
  12. I think he is a really good kid. It's unfortunate it hasn't worked out for him here. He is really needing a change of scenery. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...x082508.article Peace
  13. Mike Mulligan talked about this today and he said he went back over everything JA had said in the press and that he didn't feel that JA had lied. My disagreement with him was that I feel the omission of information itself is a lie. I am not going to split hairs here (what is a lie or isn't). My opinion, the Bears should have known this additional information would come out eventually and should have released it all up front. Peace
  14. I would call it lying by omission. Yesterday was the first time we heard that Williams had a herniated disk as a pre-existing condition. This fact was given to us Williams and not Bears management. This is the issue I have with this whole situation. Williams could still end up being a very good player but I will hesitant to trust our staff going forward. Peace
  15. I got it taken care of - thanks. Peace
  16. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...,3991930.column Why didn't they say from the beginning they were aware of the injury and that he had played on it for 3 yrs??? That sounds better than we were completely suprised by the injury which is the impression he had been giving earlier. Peace

  18. I can't speak for JA but I know these players go through extensive analysis. He had to be told that the injury was of minimal risk by the medical team. As with all draft picks, we need to give 2 to 3 yrs before actually judging. If Williams is not contributing by the end of next yr. My criticism would again be why lie? It simply looks worse now that we have found out they lied. Once you know you cannot trust the organization, you stop believing anything they say. Peace
  19. Why did the Bears front office lie about this instead of telling the truth from the beginning. This actually makes the situation look worse. I would love to hear Angelo's explanation of this. Peace http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...s082408.article
  20. I really don't feel 'fire' on the sideline is necessary. In fact, it can make some coaches look like idiots (there are several Ditka examples). I think it is more important how they handle the team in private. Peace
  21. Monk might end up back on the practice squad. Peace

Did you get someone to tape the games for you this yr? If not, I can do it again - just give me the address. Peace
  23. I agree that the coaches are a big part of the problem. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...,2035020.column Peace

And how much did Mark Bradley play last yr as the 5th receiver? Point being Bennett will be the last of the receivers on the roster. Hester, Davis, Lloyd, Booker, and Bennett would all get reps before Bennett. Peace
