  1. You didn't come up with this yourself, so how the hell do you know? Unless your good buddy offers something more than a list of numbers (like league cap rules and step by step written instructions on how they pertain to every single one of the Bears players contracts) then you are just wasting time and talking big for nothing. The NFL cap is like tax law. There are so many loopholes and clauses that you can't just list everything and add. There is a reason every team has their "cap expert".
  2. Whatcha gonna do, brother, when Haniemania runs wild on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Nah. I just looked it up. lol Remember Marc Edwards. That guy was awesome.
  4. Totally agree with all of that. I can't remember the guys name, but we cut a great blocking fullback, a vet if I remember, in favor of the superior receiving skills of McKie. From what I have seen, Politte is just as good of a receiver with more power after the catch. I haven't really noticed Poliite's blocking but McKie gets crumpled as a lead blocker alot. But I'm sure we will keep McKie over Politte just like we keep AP for his "blocking" and "special teams impact" even though he is average at both . And to be honest, I know I am in the minority here I would keep Pope over AP.
  5. I agree with you on McKie. He has really gone downhill. I like Polite alot better.
  6. I think people get mad when our bad players turn productive elsewhere....
  7. If your dog pisses on PEOPLE, you need the dog whisperer.
  8. Agree. The funny thing is everyone rips him until he happens to write something backing them up. They they quote him. Same thing with Peter King.
  9. YEah he had nothing to do with it.
  10. Well thats what you get for thinking.........
  11. You want to piss on him? EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
  12. Exactly. IMO they have something to prove. And that something is not proving how bad their fundamentals are.
  13. You are exactly right. If the front four dont get pressure, then our bigger slower corners get toasted. Tillman in particular
  14. I agree here. Its not the coaching when vets like Url, BRiggs, and Tillman suddenly can't tackle correctly and start using bad angles. Those guys know what they are supposed to do. They just looked really uninterested.
  15. Well unfortunatly I agree with this. The thing I liked most about Lovie when he first got here was that he was preaching accountability. I dont think you can go from a soft coach (Jauron) to another soft coach. You need to switch styles. After JAuron the Bears needed an a hard core accountable guy. Lovie has become less and less hardcore every year and now I think is just like Jauron. The problem is that after awhile guys start to get lazy on him because they know that he will have their back no matter what. We really need to get a Cowher type in here.
  16. At least he got us to the Super Bowl.....
  17. Plus that touchdown play when he sat there and let the receiver come behind him kind of worries me. That looks like a rookie mistake in coverage. I know its only preseason, but Brown, Url, Briggs, and Tillman's crappy play has me worried.
  18. lol I hear ya CD. We have some of the best GM's in the world on this board.
  19. Whaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Now THAT is funny. Good one CD
  20. lol I thought of you guys when Aikman was kind of saying the same thing and he didn't understand why Rivera was run out of town. That's sad when you get roasted on national TV
  21. Agreed. If our offense scores 30 we should win every game. That defense looks fat and happy. Some of the vets need to step it up. Url, Briggs, and Tillman in particular.
  22. I agree with you to a point, but lately he seems to have become....I dont want to say lazy...but maybe relying on his rep too much. And I dont think just because we dont stunt doesn't mean we dont do it in practice. They have scout teams running what the other team runs.
