  1. The biggest difference I see with Bushrod V Webb is Bushrod is on his feet and Webb is on his arse or back more often than not. I would consider Webb as soft when the going is tough I.e. v SF this year he looked spaced as if he could not comprehend what was happening and how he could stop himself having an arse whipping.
  2. I was watching the Nfl division round game 2011 same game?
  3. I have busted watched the same game nfl divisional playoff game on farmlands in HD. The you tube game is poor quality and is difficult to analyse the plays. 1st drive Brees is not touched and drives down inside SF 10 and throws an interception. 2nd drive Brees still not touched and throws interception which is returned for a rd 14-0 to SF. 3rd drive fumble KO fumble which leads to SF fg. 17-0. SF. 4th drive Brees still not touched and throws TD 17-7. 5th drive Brees still not touched throws TD 17-14 and Brees is 21-25-2-1. 6th drive Brees not touched throws interception and ends half 22-28-2-2 Now Bushrod held is own with limited help and although at times looked to be beaten fought until Brees got rid of the ball sometimes after 5 second. I have not seen a bears LT not be on their as when no help as been given by a tight end or back in at least 3 seasons. I feel Bushrod will be a steal when all is said and done.
  4. I am watching the Saints v Giants 2012. Bushrod is beast in run and pass blocking. On runs he has great foot speed and in pass blocking the only time Pierre Paul or Umenyora have gotten any pressure is Umenyora bull rushed him and had the advantage but Bushrod fought back and Brees was not touched. Webb would have been on his arse and Cutler being carried off. Only watched to halftime so far but left tackle will not be a concern next year on this performance. I remember last time we played giants Webb was killed. As a foot note Bennett was run blocking well and caught a TD and ran a good route.
  5. The easiest thing the OC can do is make sure the play reaches Jay before you need to use a time out. We would have been able to stop the clock and have probably over 2 mins at the end of the Game. Why can Jay have a no. of plays with down and distance that if I don't receive a play by X seconds I can choose a play.
  6. Looking at the game I only can only remember Bush in on 1 snap a 6 yard run with power. Lovie didn't mention Bush in the injury report today and Allen was in on at least 2 snaps.
  7. If he is available would anyone take Mark Barron. I get to hardly see college games so therefore don't know if he would upgrade our secondary. Quite a lot of recent mocks put him being pick between 20 and 30 so therefore would anyone take him at pick 19.
  8. Has anyone got any ideas why Tommie looks such an average player. I see effort but is that enough. Pulling him from the starting lineup has had no effect at all, has i thought this move would fire him up to reproduce his playing to a probowl level or is it our scheme. Or should he be cut to release money for offensive line
  9. Why not sign Pace if StClair wants to sign sign him. Then ideal situation Williams is a stud LT Pace to RT and StClair LG and if worst case Williams isn't a quality LT, put Pace there let Williams and StClair battle for RT if Williams is the better option then StClair at LG because at the moment I see holes at LT RT and LG.Probably line sorted then for 2 yrs Then draft WR in the 1st and FS in 2nd then OLine depth priority after that.
  10. Surely a beat up Pace is better than our options at this present time.Bad injury 2006 played 14 games 2007,which I would say is has good has a full season. At his age I wouldn't say he's over the hill, an average player at 33 would be, but a great player at 33 you will probably get 3 very good years plus what would Williams and any other OT learn from him.Mind you all this is hyperthetical because the penny pinching way we go about free agency will mean another season of doing nothing.
  11. Associated Press ST. LOUIS -- Orlando Pace, a seven-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle dogged by injuries in recent seasons, was released by St. Louis on Tuesday. Team owner Chip Rosenbloom said in a statement that Pace, who was the first overall pick in the 1997 draft, would be remembered as "one of the finest Rams of all time." Pace, 33, started 14 games last season, but he missed half of 2007 and virtually all of 2006 due to injuries. I know He's been injured but got to be a major upgrade if he stays fit and Williams must pick something up working with him any thoughts.
  12. I have looked every where, has the NFL admitted fault with their banded substance list or is the case still pending. Because it would be a positive boost going into the season with them suspended and if so I hope we get them in the first 4 weeks any thoughts.
  13. does anyone know a site where this game is streamed i am desperate normal site not showing
  14. if any places available would be interested in participating any of the options available
  15. is this the sort of player ja has been waiting for or is the former mvp done?
  16. Read this article on Chicago Sun Times with regards article is there any likelihood of bears matching offer and would the 2nd round pick be this year or next The Bears have two RFA’s who have yet to sign their tenders. Safety Brandon McGowan will probably do so soon. He received the mid-level tender for $1.417 million that would require a team to send the Bears a second-round draft pick if it signed McGowan to an offer sheet and the Bears declined to match it.Quite simply, that’s not going to happen. McGowan figures to be in the mix for a starting job after improving at the end of last season. A lot at safety will depend on what happens with Mike Brown, who’s coming off his third serious injury and will be entering the final year of his contract.
  17. Being that i reside in England and only concentrate on watching bears games,i managed to see all the regular season games via satellite or streaming but see very few other games so can anybody give their opinions on jason brown baltimore guard. On NFL site says would have to compensate a 2nd round pick would that be to much?
