Bears | Bradley's status for start of camp unknown Mon, 21 Jul 2008 07:16:58 -0700 Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears WR Mark Bradley's (knee) status for the start for training camp is unknown.

Apparently it includes a 1 year extension and some kind of bonus. More coming soon...

Camp starts Tuesday and has not signed yet.

Special Teams Article at Bears Site They just posted the 9th and final position article on the Bears Website. To be honest, the previous 8 I found very uninteresting as it seemed like typical coach-speak and gave really no information we did not already know or suspected. This one actually was interesting to me and gave an insight to some changes in special teams that might take place. If you have yet to go to the team site (my home page, LOL) you should check out the article. It talks about some changes being made in personel, a change in Goulds KO technique, players to keep an eye on with special teams, etc... Good stuff!!

Myself & two other people were on seperate computers at noon last Saturday to try & get Bears tickets, with very little luck. I was just curious as to how damn hard it is to get through on these or if anyone had any luck? The only luck was 50 minutes into two tickets for the home opener came up. Reality Hits Quickly for the Bears Seldom do I read an article on one of the Chicago sites that I do not get pi$$ed at when reading, but this article I can not find any points I disagree with. A good article for all of us starving for football to begin!

I think this would be a very odd move, considering the Bears already have two unproven QB's on the roster battling things out and adding Simms would only make the process more difficult. This would mean you'd have 3 guys, all capable of being starters, all of whom have flashed some positive signs, battling for one job. Still, getting Simms gives you a guy who you could turn to if Orton/Rex don't go as planned and could potentially still be a guy that could be groomed as a starter and kept on when the Bears draft a QB next year (under the assumption that Rex/Kyle fail). If Rex/Kyle succeed, than oh well, Simms is a 3rd stringer this year and moves on to s…

LOVED the Jones signing. What's not to like? I'm pretty damn happy with everything we've done this off-season. We've resigned our own guys, cut dead weight, and hope to have their replacements: Archuletta gone, Draft Steltz Cut Moose, sign Booker Lose Berrian, get Lloyd Dump Miller, draft Williams Fire Benson, sign Jones For every action, there's been reaction. (ok, we're still looking for a 3rd string QB, but I suspect we'll find one soon enough) But we've yet to replace Ruben Brown. I wouldn't mind seeing St. Clair play LG, but to assume that Williams is actually ready to start at LT is a huge assumption. As for Metcalf, just about every year …

Jones said he could start training camp next week on the physically unable to perform list, which would limit him to individual drills away from the team.
