What a crazy game yesterday. New Orleans didn't' attempt to play defense and Hasselbeck looked all pro yesterday. Any given Sat I guess but this saturday saw last years super bowl teams go out in round 1 of the playoffs. I had figured Seattle would attempt to put up a fight but not dominate and win against the defending champs. Some things I took away from this game is that our defense will need to come to play and be alert. Hasselback was surprisingly (to me) accurate and picked the Saints D apart most of the game. Had good seats for tonights game here's my observations. I tried to key on some players throughout the game. Watching the TV broadcast (which just started) will give me a different perspective. We owned half the stadium tonight. I was surprised at how many Trubisky jerseys were being worn. All the talk back in the summer of all Bears fans hating that draft pick don't appear to be true. I don't think they all got purchased this past week. Offense: Glennon sucks. After watching the MNF game I found myself wondering if the Packers did Trubisky a bit of a favor by revealing the defensive game plan they'll be using against us. They seemed to be blitzing often and from all angles trying to force some mistakes like New Orleans was able to do. I didn't get to see the game against the Packers earlier in the year so perhaps this is what they did there against Glennon? Regardless, I can't see why they wouldn't go after us in the same manner except we have a better running game than Detroit. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...1019-story.html I'm pretty sure Callahan played poorly on special teams earlier in the year giving up the early kickoff TD to Cardinals and was put back to the practice squad so there isn't much to like about this move. At one point on the sidelines Hurst was shown trying to loosen up a hamstring. I have no idea if he's injured (two weeks before next game?) or what he did to lose his job after helping force that second punt turnover by pushing Fuller into the ball.

Not that I think he's any good, but it is still miidly surprising. This coupled with the facts that 1. Leno sucks and 2. they just added a guy who is probably better suited at OG leads me to believe Kyle Long will be the starting RT this year.

I just thought it was funny that majority of the voters believe that grossman will take an edge after Saturdays game. Orton completed 70% of his passes for 56 yards and rex completed 50% of his passes for 44 yards. The td was more of wolfes ability than rexs performance. Also how many of rexs plays came against the KC defensive starters. We will see who pulls ahead now that rex will be playing some defensive starters. I thought Kyle did a good job, and will not be surprised if Kyle does pretty good coming of the bench.
