Most odds makers have us as 7 point underdogs. What a perfect time to totally redeem ourselves. I think people are giving NE too much credit, they have wins against Minnesota, Oakland, Cincy, Buffalo, and the Jets. None of those wins were really impressive, and they barely beat OAK and NYJ. They lost to MIA and KC. They won't have their leading rusher (Ridley) and their leader in sacks (Jones). Controlling Gronk seems to be the key. On defense, they are #1 against the pass, only allowing 209 per game, but they are near the bottom against the run. Alright, who has 09 already. I want to get reviews before I go out and spend 50$ for it. I like 08 a LOT better than 07, but wanted to make sure the trend continues. Also, what'd they end up ranking the Bears for this season? And Grossman's rating, I'm just interested in if they brought it way down from the 08 season.

Donte Stallworth, current NE WR, now an UFA. He'd look good in our WR core if Berrian leaves. However, if NE loses Moss, I think they'll sign Stallworth. He'd be their #1/#2 Anyways, what do you think of this possibility? He'll 28 next November, which is pretty decent. I'd give him 3-4 years...

The way I see it, there is only one certainty: Muhsin Muhammed has to either be cut, or take a backseat. Aside from that, here's what I think: -Bernard Berrian makes huge plays, and if the OL didn't stink, maybe the Bears could use more plays that utilize Berrian's speed. -Mark Bradley looks fast, big, strong, and confident every time he gets in the game. We have an OL with 3 new starters that need time to gel as a unit and will get better as the season progresses. As they become a "unit" our running game and pass protection will only improve. They faced 2 3-4 defenses in weeks one & two and now have that experience under their belt as well. We have a very young and inexperienced WR group that is getting better and better as they learn on the run. Knox & Bennett has exceeded my early expectations and look like the real deal. Didn't think it was possible that ownership would be smart enough to recognize this, but apparently the chatter has already started. Holmgren was pretty much a disaster with Cleveland though as their President of Football operations man, so I don't really like hearing his name. Still, hearing this is at least a step in the right direction if they have finally figured out that something like this needs to happen.

This is definitely a much better opponent for the Bears this early in the season. Indy is 0-2 and is the worst rush defense in the league by a pretty wide margin. They will also more than likely be without Buckner at DT. Richardson has connected on a few bombs but if the Bears take that away, he is prone to mistakes with 4 INTs on 53 attempts and only a 49% Comp%. If the Bears defense can stop Taylor and prevent anything to get behind them, this is a much more advantageous matchup than against HOU. I think this will be the best offensive output of the season for the Bears (so far), and the defense will play similarly than they have the last two weeks. Bear…

This is a must win, beat the teams you are supposed to beat. Bradford is brutal and probably won't last a quarter. Johnson does not look the same since coming back from injury and Fitzgerald is the only receiving threat. I want to see a full game this time, with significant progress for the offense and Trubisky. After seeing Mayfield come in and play like he did, there are no more excuses for Trubisky, especially against this defense. I would like to see another step from Roquan and see the team close another game out. Bears 27-10
