After this weekend's outcomes, it looks like a few additional teams made it into the Disappointment zone. Outside of everything Bears related, who/what was the biggest disappointment this season?

If the Bears get the first pick and decide to trade out of it, here are some teams with draft capital and a need at QB. First off, I think once you get past 10, it is too much capital, so I will stick to the top 10 for now: 1. ARZ - Currently #2, could want to move up to secure their guy knowing someone will ultimately jump them. The value on something like this is tough, but 2x 2nd rounders would be the value based on the trade value chart. 2. WAS - Currently #3, Howell is benched, and they shedded some salary. This would now cost a future first with the swap and another mid round pick. Another option is the pick swap, Daron Payne and another high pick in 2025 (1s…

A couple takeaways: From a leverage perspective - I walk away from this thinking it is 60/40 they stick with Fields, which might have been strategic. Is going to force a team wanting #1 to blow them away and also force a team interested in Fields to call them with a pretty strong offer. But I get a sense from Poles of - I want to build a really good football team and he didn't seem as concerned with QB as maybe Ryan Pace was. He seems like - I'll build a really good team and keep doing it and will figure out QB, whether Fields or someone else. Don't get the sense that it has to be with #1 pick. i have seen this day coming for a long, long time. the freaking NFL wants you to pay to watch it's product. through DTV, ESPN, NFL Channel, Amazon Prime and NOW they are charging you (if you want to watch it) to see the playoffs on PEACOCK TV. i guess they don't make enough money or have enough government taxpayer funded subsidiaries or tax breaks. now they they want to bleed the general public to squeeze the last dime out of your pocket. MLB did it (i stopped watching that mess in the 90's) and the normal non-subscribed to premium television viewers can't even watch the playoffs. then college football did it (i stopped watching that also) by putting your LOCAL team …

I'm only about 10 minutes into this, and it seemed pretty interesting so far. I figured I'd post the link in case any of you all got bored and wanted to watch it. It may not be the most popular route to go, especially because Fields is such a great leader and teammate, but this group has won 10 games in the last 34. A 10-24 record. Fields is 8-22 in those games and 10-30 overall. This is not a tough decision. There is no way Fields returns. For Flus, you have to win the Division before you do anything else. He is 2-10 in the Division. I could care less about the improvement. It was clear it came from player acquisition and health, not some Flus magic. The Sweat trade and the players coming back from injury turned the defense around. Playing CAR, ATL, and ARZ helped. Also playing MIN with Dobbs. They are 1-3 in the last 4 game…

This is it. The Bears are eliminated, but this game would put an exclamation point on the season. The Packers make the playoffs with a win, and miss the playoffs with a loss. So they have a ton of motivation to win this one. GB has the 13th Offense for yards, Bears now 15th. For Defense, Bears are 12th, GB is 21st. The Bears are the 2nd best rushing offense and best rushing defense per game. The Bears are #1 in INT (22), Packers are 30th (7). So the Bears have the edge overall. With the Bears having two 1st rounders in 2024, it will be interesting to follow the progress of those picks throughout the season. After Week 1, both CHI and CAR are 0-1, tied with 12 other teams (MIN is already 0-2). With only one week in the books, SOS is tied as every team that lost has faced a team that won. So both picks are between #2-#15. CHI @ TB (-2.5) CAR vs NO (-3)

1. Despite what I want, Eberflus is staying I believe. I simply don't think he has what it takes as a HC to get us to the promised land. 2. I'm fine with whatever Poles does at QB. Going JF1 or drafting a new guy. Poles has done well enough in his time here that I'm willing to let him do what he feels is best. As always, I reserve the right to disagree with it, if the moves proves incorrect. But, I'll damn well support whoever is under center next season. 3. Pardon my French, but F&*K I wanna beat GB so bad!!!! Sure, evidence points that we will lose for the 10th time in a row... But, dammit I want this! Cheers fellas!
