  3. Its good to see our star and star to be getting a jump on the season with their workouts, but look at who they are working out with!!! Johnson might has some good tips and pointers, but do you think he has anything left in the tank......aside from the OFF the field stuff http://www.csnchicago.com/bears-talk/chad-...arshall-jeffery

  4. This game is going to come down to injuries. There is a chance that Jefferson doesn't play. If that is the case, the Bears will only have to worry about Hockenson and Addison. Jefferson is such a huge percentage of their offense that it will be hard to imagine what they look like without him. Vikings come off a deflating loss to KC where they probably should've won. Bears are coming in brimming with confidence. Bears are home dogs, that should be enough motivation to win. If Jefferson plays, the Vikings will probably win, probably something like 27-24. If he doesn't play, I think it will flip and go 27-17 Bears.

  5. Listening to Bill Polian today on ESPN,who knows a thing or two about drafting for a 3-4 scheme he said that he felt the Bears would bring a veteran in on every level of the defense that knows the scheme and will help with the transition. He was spot on and this was before the signing of Foster. This is clearly looking like they are adding depth and competition in the front 7 and still need help in the secondary at corner. Although a few mocks are starting to project Cooper to the Bears and I would love that but, selecting Waynes would be a long term move for the defense. At 7 he may be the BPA that the Bears do need also.

Wonderlic tests are given to help gauge the intelligence of prospects. NFL teams expect most prospects will score well because players can prepare for the tests. When a player has an unusually low score, it sets off alarms. A person of average intelligence is supp…

  8. http://www.profootballtalk.com/category/rumor-mill/ Schefter: Brandon Marshall Asked To Be Traded Posted by Mike Florio on June 15, 2009, 2:56 p.m. Adam Schefter, who technically still works for NFL Network but who soon will be jumping to ESPN, continues to keep his finger on the pulse of the NFL. Or, as the case may be, against its prostate gland. In a Monday morning segment with 850 KOA in Denver, Schefter said that Marshall asked owner Pat Bowlen to be traded during their Friday meeting. Per Schefter, Marshall told Bowlen, "I think I'd like to be traded." Schefter said that Bowlen asked Marshall to take some time to consider whether he wants a…

There are 7 posters who signed up to join the Fantasy Football Leagues who were sent Private messages and have not responded. There are 12 posters who signed up to join the Pick'ems Contest who were sent private messages and have not responded. You should have received an email from the site informing you there was a private message waiting for you. When you visited the site after the private message was sent you should have had a popup reminder of the message on your screen. The link for the private message is just under the banner on the right side of the screen, just below where the search and help links are. Thanks

Here is my best 53-man guesstimate as of 8/5. Getting DL down to 9 is going to be tough. Blue/Bold is the Special Teamers. The Bears lost key ST contributors in DHC, J. Thomas, S. Weatherford, M. Adams, R. Griffin, and look like they will be losing Ebner's, and maybe even Jaylon Jones' ST snap share. 2 QB Fields, Justin 21/1 Walker, PJ U/CAR - This seems like a lock, a 3rd QB would be a waste. 4 RB Herbert, Khalil 21/6 Foreman, D'Onta U/CAR Johnson, Roschon 23/4 (ST) - replaces Ebner Homer, Travis U/SEA (ST) - replaces Griffin - I don't see more than 4, Ebner odd man out here. 1 FB - Blasingame, Khari U/TEN (ST) 3 TE …

A year ago, perhaps two, there was a thread where someone proposed trading Hester. I think it was after his second season when he was about to set all sorts of records on KR/PR. At the time I was against it because I figured he was a marquee player and if the WR experiment didn't work out he'd at least be an elite PR/KR. Two years later I'm throwing that out the window. I see a team in need of a lot of rebuilding, not a total rebuild but definitely in need of some cornerstone players. Those players are only going to arrive in one of three ways: High draft picks, FA, or dumb luck. Why trade Hester? He's still a huge name around the league and will comma…
