Watching the replay on NFLN this morning, I noticed how well rounded Forte's game really is right now as a rookie. I love how he always falls forward when running but what I really liked was his pass blocking. I only saw him whiff on a block once, the rest of the time he was picking up blitzes like a pro. My favorite Forte play though was on the interception. He never gave up on the play and ran down their corner and tackled him hard. Our defense came out and held them to a FG instead of what looked to be an easy defensive TD. I also want to recognize Idonije who continues to play his ass off despite not getting too many accolades in the press.

Man this Oline so far is going to get somebody killed. Rex doesn't have any time to even breath and everytime he drops back he has at least 1 or 2 defenders at his hip pocket.

It's an 8 team league, usually 10 but 2 people no showed. 2 less people meant everyone ended up with a pretty good team. Here's my team by position... Does anyone know what the Depth Chart will be for tomorrow's game. I am kinda wondering at WR specifically and does any one know if Dusty D will play tomorrow. I am assuming that KJ will play tomorrow.

Rex Grossman needs good showing vs. Seattle An interesting article but mistitled in my opinion. It has far less to do with the title than it does with 10 topics of discussion that the author makes on issues for the Bears to face, only 1 of the 10 being Rex vs Kyle. PFT is talking about Miami's QB situation. W/ Pennington added, and you have to believe Henne is a lock, that will leave one spot for two other QBs, McCown and Beck. McCown was signed in the offseason, and got some bonus money too. Beck was a 2nd round pick in 2007. One is likely to go. They make some points why Beck could be on the block, or cut. It could be McCown, but I think there is enough logic to make Beck a reasonable choice. Anyway, I know all here have fallen in love w/ Hanie, but if Beck were available, what are the thoughts. Conditioning has Rex Grossman optimistic about 2008 A good article on Rex and his attempt to win the starting position at QB. I must admit, I admire his work ethics mentioned in the article. I swear it seems like Tillman has missed 1/2 of camp, and all that is said is "he was excused for personal reasons". Articles say no one is talking, and frankly, the papers are not making an issue of it, almost like they know what is up themselves, and are showing respect. I've been thinking about our OL almost exclusively, this off season. I'm thinking we have some highly tradeable talent on this roster that we can utilize to upgrade the OL. The reason I'm talking trade is because I want a rising player, not a cap cut or scrap heap player. Here's a look at our tradeable players. D. Manning - will not hurt us to be gone. Cap friendly for whoever may want him. R. Manning -Obviously already on the block. Cap friendly for us and may fill a huge need for a deprived team. A. Adams - Looking good for us, but we are deep. There may be those looking at the give and take between Nfoligno and me thinking we hate each other. I suggest you read between the lines. Obviously Nfoligno is dumb as a box of rocks, but I think he and I both agree on one thing... We're just having fun. We'll need a sense of humor this season fellas.
