As I'm a bit bored speculating on the draft at the moment, I thought it might be fun to start a thread...and eventually get a consesnus on an All time Bears Roster. But since the old messageboard closed, has some its members gone little bad with language here? I have read more garbage with cussing in it since the change. Is there any way to put word filters on this format? I know VBulletin has it as well as PHPBB. I admined plenty in my day. I can see either any of the three RBs currently on roster being the primary RB, but I don't think any will get a ton of carries. I think it'll be a three-headed monster this year, with Forte slowly getting more carries by year's end. What I'd love to see is Wolfe get the majority of the carries in the beginning of the year. We've already seen what Peterson can do, and I love the guy, but he's not capable of doing anything spectacular in the NFL from what we've seen. Right now we have a good team shaping up. But we could be even better if we got rid of Metcalf and went out and signed C/G Bentley. We just might lose Manning Jr, but we are good in the depth in the back secondary. We don't need Lynch....too slow now. If we are going to pick up a QB Farve would be a great addition, or Culpepper would be better if Farve didn't fall to us. I just don't like the idea of Henine being a starter if Rex/Orton get hurt. This of course is all pending the police investigation but if he is fully exonerated, I presume all 32 teams will be in an all out battle for a cheap, cost controlled last 1st round pick (from a value perspective). Clearly he'd be a fantastic fit on the Bears (and would probably start day 1 to be frank...he's better than Mills).

Ok off the top of my head these are some things the stuck in my mind. 1. I thought in general Jay had another good game. he had a few bad throws and another boneheaded pick but all in all better overall decision making. 2. I thought the protection was decent for the most part 3. Web is killing us with penalties whether it's holding or some kind of illegal hands to the face. Hear me out on this. Let's say Barber and Bell continue to shine and Taylor does a reversal...and Forte will not come to an agreement with the team. Do we consider trading Forte if we can get the right offer (I would say a 1st round pick)? I love Forte and would hate to see him leave but running backs are a dime a dozen. Would anybody be totally against him? I can speak from first hand experience. Hawaiian people are not trash, and are extremely genuine. I think as far as football talent, he is on top. Are they here next year? I cannot see the front office spending good money on either of there two players. I know we all want them to retire as Bears but not if it costs us getting a top notch offensive lineman or two if free agency. Thoughts? Peace
