Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

  1. Trubisky revenge game. Watch him go off and throw 3 TDs in the first half. That would suck lol. Guys I am watching besides Fields: Our Tackles, Herbert, Johnson (WR), Gipson (Edge), Attaochu, Blackson, Vildor Some interesting battles for the last few WR slots and CB2. Hopefully Mack doesn't kill Trubisky. GO BEARS Bears 27-17 Fields leads another win!

Visited Bears training camp today with my brother and his boys. Observations: 1 - Much more like Platteville than Bourbonnais. Platteville was very laid back. Bourbonnais was was too corporate for my taste. 2 - Jaylon Johnson had 2 picks of Andy Dalton. The 2nd was beautifully timed where he jumped over the receiver on a long pass to haul it in. Dalton did have a nice throw to Allan Robinson on the sidelines. 3 - Justin Fields made a fantastic throw to Jesse James on a deep side-line route that went right over the top of the defender Charles Snowden. It really was a thing of beauty. 4 - Watched the defensive line prac…

  5. Started by Mongo3451,

When Fields entered the game the offense was completely out of rhythm. It stayed that way through his first couple drives. After that I saw three plays I really liked. Of course I loved his TD run, but Mitch could have done that. The first play I liked was one where he was rolling to the right and patiently hit the receiver that was breaking free. Two was his long run. Only two players in the NFL make that run, Fields and Lamar Jackson. The only difference, Lamar would've scored, yet Fields just glides at that speed. Third was the TD to James. When you show elite arm strength and it looks effortless as you are rolling right and throwing left. Impressive. I know…

1-2, 10 yds. Throws to first read into triple coverage on completion. Lucky it wasn't intercepted and the receiver almost got blown up. Instead of letting him air it out, they protect him and run more than pass while Trubisky was in. That was embarrassing, and against the Lions no less.

  9. This is a great first test with some joint practices. Those are always fun to see. Miami is very similar to the Bears, they finished 10-6, had a top 10 defense and a top 20 offense. The Bears had a slightly better defense and slightly worse offense. I think we have the edge on both sides of the ball this year. I would take the Bears units every time, thoughts? Tua/Brissett vs Dalton/Fields Gaskin/Brown vs Monty/Williams/Cohen Parker/Fuller/Waddle vs ARob/Mooney/Goodwin Gesicki/Shaheen vs Kmet/Graham/James

I know I have said this before. If one can't be positive at the start of training camp I think it will only go down hill as the season goes on. But I don't understand why this team has not gotten a true LT no matter the quality just as a camp body. They have a bunch at almost every position but not one LT that has played a game or even taken a snap in the reg. season at the position. What am I missing? OK you'r going to wait till camp cuts and then pay more for those who get cut, They should of signed someone long ago. Before they signed Butt, Hardy etc.

I just got an email saying I have tickets for pre-season. It's for August 7th. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll see if I can transfer them. Says I can't forward them until the day before so I don't want to try and mess things up, but worth a chance if your interested. Electronic only and I live in Cali'. First come. But don't get your hopes up.

The Rodgers drama, now Davante Adams? This may all end up being nothing, but both of them could be gone after this year. I never saw this coming. I didn't realize he was a year older than ARob. I also didn't realize Adams has only had 2x 1000 yd seasons. He is a TD machine, but has only hit 100 receptions and 100 yards twice. The fact that they offered Rodgers a 2-yr extension to make him the league's highest paid player also speaks volumes about how they really feel about Jordan Love.

  17. Here's a topic - I think Pace should have signed Robinson to a long term deal. Of course I don't know what he was asking, but if it was fair market value, I think it was a mistake not to sign him and give Fields that receiver to grow with long term.

I don't know how I missed this, but there have been multiple reports about Cohen not looking very good: June 16th and July 9th. Both reports say he was walking stiff, etc. He tore his ACL in late September, so we are 9 months post injury/surgery. From reading articles, that is about the time most athletes come back from the injury. With less than 2 months until the season, there is a chance he may not be ready Week 1. Something to monitor, because Cohen's entire game revolves around his ability to change direction and his lateral quickness. If he can't do that as well, his value drops to almost zero.

Awesome analysis of the Bears QB situation and Fields. Also shows how terrible Trubisky and Foles were last year. Worth the time.
