Cameron Worrell was released from the dolphins. I say give him a minimum vet contract and we could have our s/t ace back, and some depth at S. He also know's our system as far as s/t's play.

Since Lawrence Holmes is one of the few Chicago guys I really trust when it comes to the Bears, I made it a point to catch him this afternoon on 670. The Bengals had Derrick Harvey as "their guy" at No. 9 as of late this week, but have since changed to Sedrick Ellis, according to FOXSports' Jay Glazer. Maybe the Dewayne Robertson trade to Denver changed Cincinnati's mind. Of course, this is just more pre-draft chatter to take with a grain of salt. Glazer notes that the Bengals "also like (Illinois RB) Rashard Mendenhall."

I do not post many mocks, but Gosselin is well known to be tops when it comes to his mocks. He has had a fe prior, but I was waiting for him to release his final mock, which he did today. I'll tell you what guys, I love the Chris Williams pick. I saw him play twice this year, once against Mississippi, and the finale against Wake Forest. This is what I remember seeing/thinking: 1) He seems very fast 2) He almost always made the DE go really wide 3) He seemed like he had quick hands or quick extension of the arms once the Defensive player engaged. But this is the most important thing I remember from each game: He looked like he was playing against a little kid. I don't mean that the other person was smaller. What I mean is, when you are playing with a little kid, you can often do things that are ridiculously unsuccessful agains…

I'd love to see either Roy Schuening (OG), Dennis Dixon, or Mario Manningham in any combination for the Bears. My preference would be a combination of Roy Schuening and Mario Manningham. That would be outstanding.

So, onto day 2. Jerry Angelo has proven his ineptitude at grading Offensive talent once again. I too am sorry for the wasted 2nd round pick (way better picks still available at that time). However, the Bears open with two picks in the third round. Who do you like to try and pull this thing out? At QB - Brennan, Woodson, Ainge or ??? How about at WR? It looks as though there are few Hawaii WR's still available...could that mean something??? Or how about Early Doucet??? He is still there.
