The same bad theme keeps cycling through my brain; Pace with another trade down, then a free agent overpay, Nagy with another dumb decision and so on. In just this year, Pace has brought us Andy Dalton at the cost of Kyle Fuller. While I agreed with the trade for Fields, the 'meh' was for trading yet another pick for Jenkins when we could have gotten a tackle with our pick.(but no, he falls in love with certain players) He simply could have kept Trubisky on a cheap deal, kept Fuller, drafted Fields and we'd be stronger. We have an OL with 3 new starters that need time to gel as a unit and will get better as the season progresses. As they become a "unit" our running game and pass protection will only improve. They faced 2 3-4 defenses in weeks one & two and now have that experience under their belt as well. We have a very young and inexperienced WR group that is getting better and better as they learn on the run. Knox & Bennett has exceeded my early expectations and look like the real deal. Since the combine Solomon Thomas has quietly risen past Allen on many draft boards (Draftek, Bleacherreport, NFLnetwork, and CBS who has had him there for some time. He needs to be squarely in our sights on draft day. Right now he's my preferred pick at #3 if he's still there. Alright, who has 09 already. I want to get reviews before I go out and spend 50$ for it. I like 08 a LOT better than 07, but wanted to make sure the trend continues. Also, what'd they end up ranking the Bears for this season? And Grossman's rating, I'm just interested in if they brought it way down from the 08 season.

Listening to Hub on the Score. I know, I know. Hub is FAR from a liked individual on this board, but is it unreasonable to believe he has connections w/in the Bears?
