Bears getting 6 pts. Hard to see how the Bears pull this one out after the last two games. Offensive Line is decimated and we are not very good at stopping the run. Henry looks to have a big day. Until they show anything, this is an L. The only way I can see them winning is if they get a Special Teams or Defensive score. Titans 27-13.

After this game the Bears schedule gets suddenly brutal. This is both a trap game and effectively a must win...Win this and you've gone 7-1 in the first half, and a 4-4 finish puts you in the playoffs almost guaranteed. Lose this, and Houston and San Francisco can make you a losing streak.

Well here we are, the big trial, Preseason game 3, where the starters play the longest. Roy Williams...catch footballs when they're thrown your way. Offensive Line...Jay Cutler is not to be touched. Secondary...Tackle better. Everyone else...Stay Healthy!

I start with the D and change subject matter as we move forward. DBs: EJac, he will be 30 with a cap hit of 17 mil and a dead money hit of 9.5 if you move on from him. I think he stays one more yr. He has played well this yr, not sure he's worth 17 mil but they have a better dead money situation in 2024 (5.5 mil.) if they want to move on. The Trib says the Bears are also looking at Bushrod and Cook and might have to choose between the two. I say if the Bears can get out of FA with either Long or Bushrod, I'd consider it a success. I'd even pay a little more for Long, all things being equal. I don't love Cook, and think it might be more prudent to sign a second-tier potential starter at TE (I've always liked Delanie Walker) and spend the extra $ at LT and look at TE and OG in the first round of the draft.

As per PFT. Althogh he's visiting with the Cowboys and Lions. The Dolphins are also interested. Offensive guard is one area with have not addressed in free agency. (which leads me to suspect we plan on starting Carimi at guard). It would be huge if we could add Moore to stabilize the line. Although he plays at RG which means we'd need to move either him or Lance Louis to LG (assuming Louis resigns.)
