After 3 weeks, there are 14 teams with a 1-2 record. CLE is technically the last WC team in the AFC. So the Bears could be as low as #4 or as high as #17 thru 3 weeks. Honestly, I am surprised CIN and JAX are 0-3, but CIN did look terrible in joint practices, so it does make sense a little bit. I have no clue how JAX got worse, but they did have a super easy schedule last season that may have masked their issues. This is now a must-win, mainly because the Bears have to win games they are favored to win at home. With GB playing in DEN and DET playing LAR, there is a chance that both GB and DET lose, and CHI wins, which would reset the division back to the way it was before the loss to GB, making the Week 16 rematch even that much more important. CLE's defense is no joke. They are pretty much a top 5 defense across the board. Their offense looks more explosive with Sanders at QB. This is going to be an ugly FG war. Bears 20-16.

Funny that this game is on Halloween because it is going to be scary bad. It's pretty telling that a 2-4 team is favored on the road against a 3-4 team. Vegas has zero faith in the Bears. SF is reeling, having lost 4 straight. Their wins are over PHI and DET. This is a bad team. There is no reason the Bears should lose or be underdogs at home against a team like this. This year is a great opportunity in the draft. Every time you get a new coach or GM you have the opportunity to steal intell from other teams. So far, we have ours, KC's and Indy's. The Bears offense was completely broken last year and Fields still had a great game with some insane runs. The Bears lost 33-22 (Santos missed a PAT). I was very surprised at how high guys like Tyler Smith and Cole Strange went. There always an ebb and flow to draft trends and IOL are moving upwards lately. I still like IOL. Raimann, Rhyan, and at OT I have no clue where Petit-Frere fits because his ranking is anywhere from 2nd to 5th Rd but he still seems like a reasonable option somewhere. Lost in the frustration in the loss against MIami is the fact that, quietly, Trubisky has moved into 7th place in QB Rating in the NFL. He sits behind Mahomes (5th and trending down) and Goff (6th) and ahead of in descending order: Wilson, Wentz, Cousins, Rodgers, Brady, Roethlisberger, Dalton, Stafford, Newton, Watson, Carr, Luck, Prescott, among others. As I always say QB Rating has it's demerits so I'm not married to it as the best way, or even a good way, to evaluate QBs. Here we go, our only route to the playoffs is through Detroit with GB beating MIN. Since we can only draft in 2 spots, the draft position is irrelevant. They have also moved the GB/MIN game to a 3:25 pm start time with the flex scheduling. With the SF loss, GB is now the #2 seed; so in order to get a Bye, they need to win against MIN with SF playing ARZ.
