Listened to Thayer on the SCORE with Double Z earlier tonight and he said Orton has progressed enough to be given the starting job. He also seem to say 5 yrs is enough time on Rex and the Bears need to move on - Rex has too many questions to answer. Peace

Currently 9 to 10 point underdogs, we played them well in Week 1. Injuries will play a huge part in the outcome. We potentially will have a fresh Forte, Alshon, and Royal. Of all the games you could win in a rebuild year, it's this one. Based on our last 6-7 games, this seems like it is going to be another close one. Weather could also play a factor. I don't think we will but we still need another backup QB. The Cardinals had four QB'S on their roster after cutting Skelton and a few teams have three to five. What if we could sign J.Russell....cut from the Raiders.....hey...he will come cheap, has starting experience, is now back on rack and hungry to play and is a big man to bring down like Big Ben........so what say you?

I'm calling it now. With the defense and Jay Cutler on this team, no playoff. Maybe 9-7 if they're lucky.

The 3-3 Redskins come to visit the 4-2 Bears, although the Bears haven't looked good at all their last 3 games. The Redskins are coming off a close loss at the hands of the Colts, where Manning was able to move the ball effectively both in the air and on the ground. Winning this game going into the Bye Week is actually quite important in terms of the playoffs.

Day 6 looks like kyle is back even if not ahead of rex now. Kyle and Rex both had pics in today's camp, but rex also fumbled 2 (yeah I said it 2) frickin snaps! Kyle's pic was pretty close to the same as Rex's ,as they were both going for the long bomb, but you will also notice on the video, that rex should have had at least one more pic when either vasher or mcbride batted the ball away down the left side of the field. Rex looked like the qb of old as he had his fumblitis with the snaps, throws into double coverage, and numerous batted down passes at the line.
