So going into this game, it is nice to see Trestman getting the team there on Friday instead of Saturday. I like the extra day to acclimate and fine tune the game plan. Garza going down may be a blessing in disguise because De La Puente played great. Mills still seems to be the biggest issue on the line based on what I saw last week. This game is very concerning as SF has more weapons than Buffalo and a better Defense. Kaepernick is much better passing and running than Manuel; Crabtree, Johnson, Boldin, and Davis are a tough set of receivers to defend. I have heard a few names that we are pursuing in FAgency: I mentioned Ian Williams in another topic. I heard the name Tashawn Gibson mentioned by Brad Biggs. At the combine they had interviews with QBS: Kevin Hogan Dak Prescott Carson Wentz Jacoby Brissett I would say these QBs tell me we will be picking a QB in mid rounds and he is on that list

Cards are 2-3 in their last 5, Murray is back, McBride (TE) is having a huge year, Conner is very solid on the ground. Bears are favored by 4.5, which says Vegas likes them this week. I am going Bears 24-17 which hurts the Bears draft position and helps the Cards stay close to the Panthers. The Bears normally beat bad teams.

This is it. The Bears are eliminated, but this game would put an exclamation point on the season. The Packers make the playoffs with a win, and miss the playoffs with a loss. So they have a ton of motivation to win this one. GB has the 13th Offense for yards, Bears now 15th. For Defense, Bears are 12th, GB is 21st. Looks like the odds will start at Bears -1.5 but they opened at -2.5, and it may change again with injury news. The Steelers are in the bottom half of the league for offense and defense. With the schedule about to get extremely tough, this becomes another game they need to win. Bears 27-20.

Here is one I did with PFF's Mock Draft Simulator, just one trade down for a 3rd and a 5th. Still picked up Johnson (which is unlikely), but hey. Johnson is a no-brainer if there. Well I suppose its time to get this going. For starters we need to confirm who is returning and if anyone from last season doesnt wish to join this year we need to find a replacement. I will also send reminders through yahoo. So for the time being if you were in the league last season just let us know what you plan to do and we can also discuss any rule changes anyone wants to propose. A few people also have a $5 credit towards this season which we will straighten out when we get all our owners. So I keep hearing and reading about the recent deflategate and the contest between NE and Indy. I know it's not Bears football stuff but am curious what your thoughts are? Especially with many here consider Belicheck one of the best ever. I'll say this; my money is Brady is being dishonest about something.

This is definitely a much better opponent for the Bears this early in the season. Indy is 0-2 and is the worst rush defense in the league by a pretty wide margin. They will also more than likely be without Buckner at DT. Richardson has connected on a few bombs but if the Bears take that away, he is prone to mistakes with 4 INTs on 53 attempts and only a 49% Comp%. If the Bears defense can stop Taylor and prevent anything to get behind them, this is a much more advantageous matchup than against HOU. This game is going to come down to injuries. There is a chance that Jefferson doesn't play. If that is the case, the Bears will only have to worry about Hockenson and Addison. Jefferson is such a huge percentage of their offense that it will be hard to imagine what they look like without him. Vikings come off a deflating loss to KC where they probably should've won. Bears are coming in brimming with confidence. Bears are home dogs, that should be enough motivation to win. If Jefferson plays, the Vikings will probably win, probably something like 27-24. If he doesn't play, I think it will flip and go 27-17 Bears.

There is no way the defense is not much, much better with the return of Ratliff, Paea, and DJ, the signing of Allen, Young, and Houston, and the drafting of Ferguson and Sutton.
